Insurance
We carry commercial auto liability, general liability, cargo and California workers' compensation. Tell us the exact legal name and address of the entity that needs to be named and we will have our agent issue a certificate of insurance naming you as additional insured, with the endorsements and waiver of subrogation your contract calls for.
If your project requires specific limits, primary and non-contributory wording, a 30-day notice of cancellation or a named-insured schedule, send the insurance requirements exhibit from your subcontract and we will have it reviewed before we mobilize rather than after.
Fleet & driver compliance
Roll-off trucks in California answer to three regulators at once — FMCSA, the CHP and CARB. Here is what that actually means for a truck coming to your site.
Every power unit is enrolled in the California Highway Patrol's Basic Inspection of Terminals programme, which means a CHP inspector reviews our maintenance records, driver qualification files and equipment on a recurring cycle at our terminal.
Annual DOT inspections, documented preventive maintenance intervals, and daily driver vehicle inspection reports before and after every shift.
Commercially licensed drivers with current medical certification, DMV pull-notice enrolment, pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing under the federal programme, and hours-of-service records.
Driver qualification files are available for review as part of the compliance package if your prequalification process requires them.
California heavy-duty vehicles must pass periodic emissions testing under CARB's Clean Truck Check programme and be reported in the state system before registration will renew.
If your owner or agency requires proof of CARB compliance for trucks entering the site, we can provide the vehicle compliance record for the specific units assigned to you.
Public works & prevailing wage
On public works projects subject to California prevailing wage, hauling is frequently the line item that holds up a progress payment because the trucker did not file. We handle it as part of the job rather than as an afterthought.
Send us the awarding body, the project's DIR job number and the payroll cadence your labour compliance consultant expects, and we will match it from the first load.
C&D waste diversion
Since January 1, 2026 the 2025 edition of CALGreen has required covered projects to divert a minimum of 65% of nonhazardous construction and demolition waste — or meet a stricter local ordinance.
The percentage is rarely the hard part. The paperwork is: certified scale tickets with the right city of origin, facility diversion documentation, tonnage broken out by disposition, and all of it filed before your jurisdiction's clock runs out. Several Inland Empire cities hold five-figure refundable deposits against exactly that.
We handle it at no extra charge, and we wrote the whole thing up — city-by-city thresholds and deposits, the facilities we tip at, the bin-size trap that scores demo debris at 0%, and the LEED credit thresholds.
