Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026. This policy applies to jdrolloffdumpsters.com, operated by J D Transport, Inc.
The short version
We are a dumpster rental company, not a data business. We collect the minimum needed to quote your job, deliver a container and invoice you. We do not sell your personal information. Our pricing calculator runs entirely in your browser — typing an address into it does not send anything to us.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you call, email or request service, we may collect:
- Your name and the name of your company
- Phone number and email address
- Service and billing addresses
- Details about the job — material type, container size, dates
- Payment information, processed by our payment provider and not stored on this website
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our host and analytics tools record standard technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the site that referred you, and timestamps. This is used to understand which pages are useful and to keep the site working.
Address lookup and booking requests
The booking calculator automatically sends your completed delivery address to Photon, which uses OpenStreetMap data to find the property. Route coordinates are sent to OSRM to estimate driving mileage. Your name, phone number, email, and booking notes are not included in these mapping requests. These third-party services may receive standard request information such as your IP address.
When you click Request Booking, the form sends the entered booking details and estimate through FormSubmit.cloud for email delivery to JD Transport. This is a request for manual scheduling confirmation, not a confirmed reservation or payment. The calculator does not store a booking database in your browser; mapping and email providers process requests under their own service practices.
How we use your information
- To quote, schedule, deliver and pick up your container
- To invoice you and collect payment
- To contact you about your specific job or account
- To keep records required for tax, insurance, and waste-disposal compliance
- To improve the website and understand which pages people find useful
- To measure the effectiveness of our advertising
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for basic site function and for analytics and advertising measurement, which may include Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking. These tools may set cookies that let Google measure whether an advert led to a call or enquiry.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and adjust advertising personalisation in Google Ad Settings. Blocking cookies will not stop you using the pricing calculator.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers — website hosting, analytics, payment processing and accounting, each limited to what they need to perform that service
- Disposal facilities — where a transfer station or landfill requires generator or job information to accept a load
- Legal requirements — where we are required to disclose information by law, subpoena or a government or regulatory request
- Business transfer — if the company is sold or merged, records may transfer as part of that transaction
Your California privacy rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, California residents may request to:
- Know what categories of personal information we have collected about them and why
- Receive a copy of the specific personal information we hold
- Have their personal information deleted, subject to our record-keeping obligations
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in exchange for payment, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front. To make a request, email Info@jdtransportcorp.com or call (951) 545-0206. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Data retention
We keep job and invoice records for as long as needed to run the business and satisfy tax, insurance and waste-disposal record-keeping requirements, then dispose of them securely.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are directed at property owners, contractors and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
This site links to third-party sites such as Google Maps, the Better Business Bureau and OpenStreetMap. We are not responsible for their privacy practices — read their policies if you use them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The revision date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page.
