Fleet & capacity
115 roll-off containers. Five trucks. One local team.
We are the independent hauler most contractors, GCs and property managers in the Inland Empire end up on because we own enough equipment to actually cover the job — not a two-truck operator stretched across three sites, and not a franchise that quotes slowly and locks you into a contract.
The fleet, by size
Built for jobs that need more than one bin.
Most Inland Empire independents run one or two trucks and 30 to 60 total bins across all sizes. Franchise haulers run 200+ but slow to quote and lock you in. We sit in between on purpose — deep enough for multi-phase construction, small enough to answer the phone the same day.
20
Heavy materials: dirt, concrete, brick, and rock. $700 with 10 tons included, maximum capacity 10 tons. Low profile for loading by hand or with appropriate equipment.
15
For smaller construction and clean-out jobs. Same scope of work as the 40 yard, sized down for tighter driveways and lighter loads. $650 base, 3 tons included, $85 per ton over.
80
The bin we run most. Deep enough that a demo or multi-phase construction job can keep four to ten on rotation without waiting for a swap. $700 base, 4 tons included, $85 per ton over.
5
Five roll-off trucks running daily across Corona, Riverside, Norco, Jurupa Valley and the Inland Empire. Real routing depth means same-day and next-day pulls are the norm, not the exception.
Most independent haulers spread their fleet evenly across sizes. We deliberately over-index on 40 yard bins because that is the size demolition, roofing and multi-phase construction jobs actually consume — and running out of 40s mid-project is the top complaint we hear about competitors. A general contractor running an apartment demo or a large tenant improvement can pull six to ten of our 40s on rotation for weeks without a delivery gap.

We own it all
Five company trucks. Zero brokered accounts.
A lot of the phone numbers that answer "roll-off dumpster Riverside" belong to booking agents. They take your account and hand it to whichever hauler has a truck free that day, which is exactly why the swap slips a day and nobody can tell you why. Every JD Transport truck, container and driver rolls out of our own yard. When we commit to Thursday, Thursday is a commitment we can actually keep — because we are the ones running the schedule.
Who this fleet is built for
Jobs that don't fit in one bin.
Multi-phase construction & TIs
Framing, drywall, punch list, cleanout — four to ten 40-yard bins on rotation for weeks, with certified scale tickets on every pull for CALGreen 65% reporting. One dispatcher who knows your site.
Interior gut-outs & teardowns
40-yard depth means the tear-out phase never stops for a truck. Inert-only 10 yard lowboys for the concrete and slab work so the diversion math holds up on the plan checker's desk.
Tear-off crews on tight schedules
Roof-tile-only 10 yard lowboys keep the debris routed as inert (not mixed C&D), which cuts your dump ticket and can qualify the load for higher diversion credit at facilities like San Bernardino's.
Standing swap schedules
One 40 on site, swapped on a fixed day, one invoice, net terms. Fleet depth means your Thursday swap does not slip when someone else's job runs long. See commercial service →
Portfolio & multifamily
Cleanouts, evictions, rehabs, tenant turnovers across a portfolio of sites. One phone number, one invoice, one dispatcher who learns your gate codes and dock hours.
Certified payroll, DIR registered
Five owned trucks means we can bond real prevailing-wage schedules without borrowing capacity. COIs, additional insured endorsements, and DOT paperwork on file.
The dispatch math
Why five trucks and 115 bins beats "we'll try to fit you in."
Two directions at once
Five trucks means we can run two out to a Riverside or Moreno Valley job while the rest handle a Corona-Norco-Chino loop. A one- or two-truck hauler has to choose — and one of those pulls slips a day.
The swap is always on the yard
115 containers in inventory means when your Thursday swap comes up, the replacement bin is on our yard, not routed from another customer's job. That is the difference between a scheduled swap and a phone call at 4:45 PM.
Real, not aspirational
"Same-day delivery" from a one-truck hauler means they'll call you back. From us, most weeks, it means a bin on your driveway before the crew wraps — because there is a truck and a container available right now.
Where JD Transport sits
The independent hauler tier, done at scale.
Fleet size is the single clearest predictor of whether your swap actually happens on schedule. Here is how the local market stacks up.
| Operator tier | Trucks | Containers | What that looks like on your job |
|---|---|---|---|
| Owner-operator | 1 | 10–25 | Cheapest quote. First to miss a swap window on a multi-day job. |
| Small independent | 2 | 30–60 | Fine for a single-bin residential. Runs out of 40s mid-project on commercial work. |
| JD Transport | 5 | 115 | Depth on 40-yard bins for multi-phase jobs, plus same-day service. No brokering. |
| Franchise / national | 20+ | 200+ | Reliable, but slow to quote, contract required, higher price, no local relationship. |
Tier ranges are approximate, based on public California DOT filings and industry conventions for Inland Empire roll-off operators. JD Transport figures are current company inventory as of 2026.
Common questions
What contractors ask us before the first bin drops.
Can you cover a job that needs six or more 40-yard bins at once?
Yes. Eighty 40-yard containers in inventory is the specific reason we can. Larger multi-phase construction and demolition jobs routinely keep six to ten of our 40s on rotation for weeks without a delivery gap. Call us with your peak-week schedule and we'll confirm depth for your dates.
How fast can you deliver a bin?
Most weeks, same-day if you call before mid-morning, and reliably next-day otherwise. Five trucks running daily means we usually have routing flexibility that a one- or two-truck hauler doesn't. Deliveries run Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Do you handle recurring accounts with standing swap schedules?
Yes — that's roughly half our business. Warehouses, 3PLs, property managers with a portfolio, and GCs running multi-site work. You get a fixed monthly number in writing, one dispatcher who knows your gate code, and consolidated monthly invoicing. See the commercial service page.
Do you own the trucks or is this brokered?
Every truck, container and driver is JD Transport. We do not broker accounts to other haulers — which means when we commit to a delivery window, we're not depending on someone else's schedule to keep it.
What areas does the fleet cover?
We serve Corona, Norco, Eastvale, Jurupa Valley, Riverside, Ontario, Chino, Chino Hills, Yorba Linda and surrounding communities. See the full service area and use your complete address for a delivery estimate. The base rate includes 20 one-way driving miles; a city name alone does not determine the delivery charge.
Current fleet inventory: 20× 10 yard lowboy roll-offs (inert only), 15× 20 yard roll-offs, 80× 40 yard roll-offs, and 5 roll-off trucks in daily service, operating from our service origin. Fleet counts are reviewed monthly and may vary by a small margin as containers rotate through repair and inspection cycles.
